a “mixed reality” shopping system with SAP Hybris YaaS
uses computer vision to identify an electronic product (with exact known dimensions and 3D model) in a database by hovering your phone camera over a real life product.
code-named “Snapbase” for photogrammetry-based product recognition
used Crunchbase API via Wordpress API for sourcing content information about the product and its company
used MapQuest for directions from your current spot to the company (to-do: this should probably be retail stores of the company and not straight to HQ)
used SAP Hybris as a data store for ecommerce that allows you to just buy it online on your phone right there
related products are introduced, and the photogrametry-based recognition naturally provides the corresponding 3D model, allowing you to preview the other product that isn't there at lifesize side-by-side in mixed reality.
